XXIV was a mix I originally had made for my 24th birthday, and contains a variety of sounds from the EDM community. Some released in 2023, some that have been longstanding favorites of mine, some not released this year but were tracks that I discovered this year, and some that aren't EDM but were still songs that I wanted to incorporate into the mix. Be prepared for a few surprises along the way. :)

Somewhere around 5 years ago, I began to burn out on both listening to and making EDM. It was around that time I decided to shift my focus and passion towards other types of music, and I discovered a bunch of really great stuff that will stick with me for several years to come. Funnily enough, after enough time passed away from it, EDM started to feel fresh to me again. It's a sound and community that I have grown up with, and it feels like I'm always going to have a tie to it, whether the people in those circles care about the stuff I'm creating or not.

With this mix, I took some of the more "alternative" music from that 5 year time span and tried to incorporate it into an EDM context. I also left some space for cool mashups, a skill that I've had fun honing over the years alongside my production and songwriting. This may just sound like another DJ mix on the surface (and functionally, it is), but just know a lot of care went into what you're hearing. I hope you can find something enjoyable in it.
